We recently installed Flutter White Vertical Blinds at a home in Matlock Derbyshire.
Vertical blinds are a great alternative to curtains. The surface of the slats of the blinds reflects light, allowing you to reduce the amount that people can see into your rooms as you adjust the blind. In spite of this these blinds still, allow plenty of light into a room.
This example was fitted in Matlock, Derbyshire. These vertical blinds are fitted in a 127mm rough slat. The fabric used is called “flutter white”.
As you can see the pattern and light alters considerably depending on the angle of the slat.
Once the blind is fully closed it creates quite the dramatic effect, giving the impression of floating feathers.
Installing Flutter White Vertical Blinds
Peak Blinds used a standard face fix bracket which involved screwing the bracket into the window frames, as there were already existing holes in the frame from a previous blind fitting. This made the installation much easier. If you have not had blinds fitted before, it’s no problem we can easily fit them to most windows and doors.
This was a bi-part vertical blind. Which means that the controls to open, close and draw the blinds are on the left-hand side. The blind pars in the middle. We used a standard chain and chord tidy, although we have a range that our customers can choose from. We will show you a selection of chain and chords to suit both the blind and your existing decor.
